이라크전 당시 미군들은 개인적으로 자신의 나약함을 숨기거나, 자신의 우월함을 강조하거나, 우울증을 달래거나, 죄책감을 없애기 위해서 등등 여러가지 이유로 음악을 이용했다.

 

당시 적들은 오사마 빈 라덴을 중심으로한 탈레반 세력이었는데, 미육군은 장갑차 안에서 이라크 도시를 진격하며 헤비메탈노래를 틀고 그 박자에 맞춰 기관총을 드르륵 드르륵 긁어 댔다(기관총을 쏘며 달렸다)는 이야기는 이미 유명하다.

 

그 당시 미군들이 전투 중에 많이 들었던 곡들 중에 하나가 이 곡이다.

 

첨부한 동영상은 이 곡을 배경음악으로 미군이 직접 만든 뮤직비디오? 홍보영상?이다.
